Our case was sent to the NVC on 10/30/08, we have paid all the fees and submitted all docs. and forms, but there is still "no info available" at the automated info system. What can we do to get info about our case? Thanks, Mike & Yizhen

married in Nanning 10/28/06 I-130 mailed 11/24/06 I-129F mailed 12/8/06

I-130 & I-129F both approved 3/1/07

I-824 sent 3/9/07 K-3 sent to GUZ 3/15/07

K-3 P-3 sent 5/30/07 P-3 ret'd 5/31/07 (P-3 rec'd by mail 6/7/07)

rec'd P-4 6/27/07 interview 8/8/07 (rec'd P-4 by mail 7/3/07)

well, as long as a live operator says you have the forms sent in, it should be ok.. looking at your signature, you have sent in the IV bills recently.. :thumbs: does NVC still think you are doing an AOS? maybe you should clarify that with them..

Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)

If your case is still at the NVC, it should give you some kind of info. The best thing is try to reach a live rep and ask them in person what is going on with your case. It might be an IVR malfunction.

well, I'm supposed to get MY visa by now.. so somewhere in the system there is a malfunction.. :lol:
