I looked up USCIS website and checked my status on 31st December, it said " card production ordered" on 31st , and today 5th January i got the same message , except they changed the date.. to 5 Jan

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On January 5, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register

What does that mean? I didn't receive approval letter in between.They just updated the date of Card production ordered. Need some advice thanks!!

You'll receive the GC soon - it's not uncommon to see these types of 'duplicate' messages at this stage. :thumbs:
