Timeline

Okay thanks all for your help, and well wishes, and congrats, and encouragments.

Now!!!!!!!!!!!!! here is the question:

We learned this week that we have a child on the way. :dance::dance::dance::dance: Does it effect her negatively at K3 or green card interview at the embassy. Please answer. Thanks.

Congratulations...

There shouldn't be any problem with K3 or GC. If the baby is born here in the US. he/she will be a USC at birth. If not, you need to get a K4 and as soon as the baby becomes a permanent resident, he/she becomes USC. I hope the wait (K3) won't be that long and that the birth happens in the US.

no negative effects. The medical won't have x-rays, that's about all that changes.

Even if the baby is born before your wife gets the K3, I don't think you'll need to do a K4 for the baby. You'll just need to register the birth at the American Embassy there in your wife's country, and it'll be registered as a US citizen.

I agree with you.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
