i called nvc just now...

Timeline

it's been a month now since we had our nvc notice.so called nvc today..they said it's still under administrative review.and once it's done my fiance(petitioner) will receive a letter from them saying that it's done already.....maybe there's no available visa yet that's why we stucked up to now plus the holidays....huhuh :crying:

6 weeks here and we are still stuck as well. You have lots of company.

A K-1 visa applicant does not have to wait for an available visa....just wait through all the backlog processing, which seems endless sometimes.

A K-1 visa applicant does not have to wait for an available visa....just wait through all the backlog processing, which seems endless sometimes.

It sure seems endless when they tell you there is no timeframe. Indefinite is the word they used tonight. After l istening to the rote off the cards bit about it taking 2-4 weeks for a month.

yeah i don't worry too much...as long as i knew that they'd approved it already and i'm not the only who got stucked at nvc.and i know my fiance had nothing to hide from them.i know it's because of the holidays...hope that the new year will give us more good news!!!! happy new year!!!!
