According to your explanation, you knew each other for only 3 days before making a marriage commitment!! All communication after that decision doesn't count in building a relationship. You can't agree to marry in 3 days and then build the relationship AFTER that.

Most everyone here would have been denied if the COs didn't take into account getting to know each other thru LDRs.

It looks like your MAIN problem is that your fiancee could BARELY communicate with the CO and some of what she did say was incorrect.

She probably couldn't tell them anything much about your relationship. May have even made answers to questions she didn't understand.

Unless you can get her lessons and she learns better English or she gets a better translator the problem isn't going to go away at the next interview if there is one.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

If we loose the appeal there won't be a next time :crying:

It was my fault before the interview I told them if they ask how we met in person to say at the airport on december 12 07 and if they ask when we started communicating to tell them april 28th 07 was our first email then we started talking on yahoo messinger after that. They just asked her when did you meet so she said December 12th. I know now that was a big mistake and im kicking myself for it. I was thinking the word meet means in person but many people say they met online so I'm to blame. I made so many mistakes I don't think I will ever make it up to her.

I'm a little worried about a wedding in Thailand. I was told by marriage attornys in Thailand that we could get married there and apply for the visa but I recieved a reply from Mr Nam as follows

"I do not know if you can register marriage certificate in Thailand and if it is considered valid by the U.S. Government? "

I wonder has anybody done this before? I heard about a man from America and his Russian wife moved there for a year and a half an got there visa but neither of us plan to move there. Why wouldn't everybody in Vietnam get married in Thailand if you could do this? Maybe it can be done if your from a country other than high fraud or if you move there for a year or more.

My congressmans leaison sent me this email and when I checked online with my tracking number my 129f was approved of on august 6th so mine should have expired and I should be free to do a new petition so that is very good news  This email was from another person he was checking on but the same should apply to me

Thank you for your inquiry. Please provide the USCIS / CSC case receipt number for this case, so I can research it in the system to see if it has been returned to the CSC as yet.

A new policy is in effect. When I-129F petitions are returned to the CSC and the validity date on the I-129F petition has expired, then, the case is administratively closed and not reviewed further at the CSC. The petitioner is told he may re-file, if desired, since the validity date is expired. (No longer is there a one or two year wait on consulate returned I-129F petitions – they won’t be reviewed further at CSC at all).

I-129F petitions are valid for a four month period from the date of approval only. E.G. if approved on 6/25/2008., the validity date would expire on 10/24/2008.

Therefore, please provide the receipt number – likely the validity date has expired, and the petitioner may re-file, with fee, if desired – Yes.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Joan, Congressional Liaison Specialist

There is a lady where I work that told me to contact this congressman because he has the power to bring over people and so does his leasion. He was the last person I asked for help but was the most resisitant to helping me and offered the least amount of help. She insist that he was able to get several people over here in a matter of days. She said he brought her husband over and there was a lady that goes to his church that just asked him to help with her son in law and the next day he got his visa. That was 2 years ago and things have changed I told her but she claim she knows several people that came over recently. I think if she was my wife it might work out better because my petition was a fiancee that is why he might have been resistant to help me. From what I read on here however the congressmen don't wield that kind of power has alot of power. I will go in tomorrow and ask again maybe when he meets me he will see that I'm serious
