i filed for I-485 and EAD last Nov.08 then i got notice for FP which is going to be this friday..now a while ago i checked my status online and it said, they sent me a notice to submit initial evidence last 20th of dec.08 which i havent received yet..

can anyone tell me what could it be? or if anyone has the same case as me..i know my lawyer said my last medical was 3 year old so they might request me to get a latest one..another question do they do the drug test with the blood the draw for other exam? cuz im way scared of needle my god,i cant more than one i guess ill pass out :)

12-03-2008------USCIS received AOS and EAD

12-10-2008------Received RFE for AOS

01-02-2009------Biometrics for both AOS and EAD

at the moment,lawyer is preparing to submit back the RFE documents..

03-9-2009-------USCIS Received RFE response-->>> LUD== AOS process resumed

RFE can be for any number of reasons....like you mentioned, your medical might be outdated, or they could want more info regarding tax, etc. Don't sweat it.....

It might be your medical or any lacking documents submitted. I know the pain to wait for something you don't know. For sure it will be in your hand soon. Be sure to comply it right away! I think the drug test is done by urine or get some string in your hair.

hey i am new to this hehe sorry if i did..but anyways ill get a hang on posting,ill figure it out "the forum" thing..

i actually didnt even what forum did i posted my stuff,or maybe u can tell me how to make sure i am posting in right forum box.. thnx

Since you mentioned your medical was 3 yrs. old i am thinking that might be the reason. I had my medical when i applied for AOS even if my medical exam in SLEC was still valid. SOme consul would ask for a medical exam even if it is not stated in the appointment letter.

No one told me i need to have another medical but i did it anyway just in case they would need it..and they really asked it from me. Consul said"most applicant came here with no medical exam that's always the case so they end up getting an RFE.

And am glad I had my medical result when they asked it from me so i was Approved right there and then.
