I-175 Checklist help

A Blessed Holidays to all!

My 2 year Green Card will expire on January 30, 2009 and until now we are not filing yet. It seemed that my husband always wait for me to do it , since he says that I am the planner and organizer ( I don't take that as a compliment anymore) .

We moved in to a new city where it will be more accessible to his healthcare provider, as he now paraplegic ( spinal cord injury), as a result of his accident December last year.

With all the responsibilities and tasks load on me, it seems my grey matter isn't working well.

Please help me by providing me a checklist for the requirements/documents needed for submission for I-175.

Thank you and I appreciate all responses and comments.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,

Janice

Dear Mary Lou and Yuanddan,

Thank you for the quick reply. I am copying the list and printing it out for my husband for his reference ( and mine ) . Hope he will read it this time. I printed him all about I-175 before the 90 day started. I am doing this to stimulate his mental health. he is not proactive.

yes, it has been a very struggling year for us since his spinal cord injury. we have lots of learnings and made a lot of adaptations. With the bad weather we had this week, I am glad that we are now in the city, as we lived in the countryside before.

I feel blessed with all the concerns and support from our families and friends.

And since his injury, time is so precious for us now.

Thank you again.

Merry Christmas . Love and peace be with you.

Blessings,

janice

Janice

Hi Janice,

I'm sorry to hear that you've both had a very challenging year. Hopefully it has brought you both even closer together.

As to your evidence for the I-751, I suggest that you request 2 years tax transcript (2006 and 2007) from IRS. It's free and you usually get them in 2 weeks (or less). Check here on how to make the request.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

01/17/09: Applied for US Passport and passport card

01/28/09: Received US Passport

01/29/09: Received US passport card

WE just filed our tax for the year 2007. 2006 was the year we both were working.

I haven't mailed the documents yet, we are still getting the fee all together.. have used my savings since his injury.

yes, indeed lots of struggles since I migrated here. It has been a lot of learning and adjustment.

Take care and happy new year.
