VSC transfers screwing up CSC timeline?

I have noticed the timelines for the two service centers converging.

A closer look at the timelines showes many Vermont filers are switching their service center to California after being transfered.

It seems that this going to screw up the prosessing timelines for both service centers. It would seem to me that tjr service center the petition is originally processed at should be the one to keep until the visa is issued.

But I could be wrong

I should update the instructions to make it clearer. Even if a persons petition is xfered they should keep the "service center" as the ORIGINAL filing location. This is important because other people that file at that location will be subject the the same policies (to xfer or not) and the statistics will capture this. The only other option is to create a category for filed at X but xfered to Y. This is probably not required and will goof things up.

I have added the note to the Service Center field in the Timeline system:

List ORIGINAL filing location; even if petition transferred
