I received a letter from the sydney embassy that I can count my ssi along with my job

here is the letter

Thank you for your inquiry.

If there are only 2 members for your household size and if you are not residing in Hawaii or Alaska, the poverty guidelines for 2 persons is US$17,500 in annual salary.

Your income is US$16,292 plus SSI is US$6,912. Therefore, your total income per year is US$23,204. This meets the 125% poverty guidelines which means you don’t need a second job or a joint sponsor to meet the poverty guidelines.

If my calculations are incorrect, please advise, however, you may include your SSI income to your annual salary of US$16,2 92.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

SINCE I make the 125% do I need a bank statement??? I have read on here it is just an extra thing

My boss also wrote that she is willing to give me overtime as well to meet the 125% poverty level.

So am i okay without the bank statement????

I do have a printout of the money in the bank so I am including that without going to the bank. I just printed it off of my online account.

I just want him home. I also am including the email they sent that I do not need a cosponsor and I meet the 125% guidelines JUST in case they forget LOL

Normally, if you meet the minimum, you do not need a bank statement or proof of assets.

Right, just leave all questions related to assets, blank. If you state them, support them.

got ya..thanks all

I wrote To whom it may concern,

I make the 100% poverty level and make more then enough to go over it, however I am a little bit under the 17500.

So I am looking for extra work to get my Kai home to me. We have been through so much to have this issue come up and not be together. If I have to work a million hours to get him back home with me I will.

My question is my co-sponser backed out in fear of having to pay something (yes I explained the whole thing)

I make 16,292 minumum and with overtime i can make up to 17,900. I also receive SSI of 576 a month which equals 6,912 extra (unless I make over 18k) I was in a bad car wreck and have been back to work now for over a year.

(feels WONDERFUL!) I am also going to be taking on a second job so I can ensure he comes home.

With what I have now will we be okay OR should I take that second job to be on the safe side. I will do whatever I can to get my Kai home with me.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely

Merilee Hartell

thats what i wrote...SO all I am going to provide is the print out of deposits

My bosses letter states

that she will give me the overtime to meet the 125% poverty guidelines above and beyond it as well
