Hello All,

I am getting worried because everyone before me and a few after me got their interview letter like a month or two ago and I am still here pending.

Someone who filed after me, got an RFE even got a touch yesterday.

What is the way to get a real person on the USCIS phoneline ?

Removal of conditions

01.11.2011 Remove conditions GC I-751 ($590)

01.18.2011 NOA1

02.24.2011 Biometric

03.25.2011 Approved

03.28.2011 Notice sent

03.31.2011 Received new green card (and it's green !)
 

AOS/EAD/AP from K1

07.23.2008 Send AOS/EAD/AP

07.29.2008 Check cashed

08.01.2008 NOA1

08.08.2008 Biometric Notice received

08.21.2008 Biometric Appointment

09.22.2008 Approval notice sent for AP (CRIS email)

09.22.2008 Card production ordered for EAD (CRIS email)

09.25.2008 Card production ordered for EAD (CRIS email) and a couple of touch since (last one 09.30.2008)

09.27.2008 Reception AP

10.02.2008 EAD Received

02.23.2009 Notice for interview (1.5 month late compared to LA statistics)

July 21, 2008---(ORIGINAL) NOA1 for AOS & EAD

July 29, 2008---"WALK-IN" BIOMETRICS DONE (AOS & EAD-1)

Oct 14, 2008---EAD1 CARD ARRIVES! Approval date is Oct. 2, 2008

Dec 10, 2008---INTERVIEW DAY! APPROVED!!!

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

Sept 10,2010---REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

CITIZENSHIP

Sept 10,2011---Application for citizenship

Well- the timeframe for the interview letters depends on how busy your local office is. and every office close to any border is VERY busy. I live in Tucson and got my interview letter 8 weeks after most of the other february filers received theirs, but the same week the other Mexico-border-folks received theirs.

maybe you could try to figure out if the other people filing in Southern Cali and Arizona already received their letters.

LA is currently processing 28th January 2008 as the oldest, you are still well within their timeframe. Comparing to other peoples timelines is going to just drive you crazy - there are many many more people in the system outside of VJ.

03/01/2007 - POE - JFK (L-1 Visa)

01/15/2008 - Proposed

03/15/2008 - Married

09/02/2008 - Sent AOS Package (I-130, I-485, I-693)

09/03/2008 - Received - Signed by SMITH

09/04/2008 - Checks deposited

09/10/2008 - Checks cleared ($1010 + $355)

09/12/2008 - 2 NOA's received (I-130, I-485) - Dated 09/08/08

09/16/2008 - Received notice for biometrics appointment on 09/30/2008

09/20/2008 - Biometrics done - Walk in (Orlando) Took 10 minutes

09/22/2008 - I-485 viewable online (pending, of course)

09/30/2008 - Biometrics Appointment (2pm)

12/30/2008 - Received Interview Letter

02/25/2008 - Interview

03/06/2008 - Welcome Letter received (the website will clearly never send me updates!)

to have an interview date is critical in my case (need to get a student loan in february) and right now we are on the border to financially totally crash if we don't get that loan.

I just want to make sure it's not lost somewhere.... wish I could use the phone, I have had an argument with the mom of my hubby over phone use (I use the phone like 1 time every 3 months)... Anyway, I guess I'll ask my sweety.

OK... so the 123 trick worked out great. I got someone.... but not someone very interesting, talking extremely fast with a high pitch voice and just repeating over and over again the info on the website.... quite dumb.

So I took an infopass appointment for the 30th of December. We will see what happen then.
