Hey Guys.

Well it is time for us to move from the main forum, join this sub forum and play the waiting game.

So anyone out there who has or is filing their I-129F petition in December 2008, post your dates, details, info and any thing you want to talk about regarding this long and very testing process.

We are better together so lets help each other out guys as we all have this one massive life changing thing in common.

So to start...

We sent out Package out on the 15th of December and are awaiting confirmation of delivery. Checking the USPS tracking page every freaking hour, ha.

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to Christmas and New year.

Thanks for the heads up on the December filing group. I looks like we have more in common, then just December. Pat and I are a US/UK couple also

Hey, good to see some people out there.

Well I just discovered Igors List, what a cool thing! For those of you who are like I was 5 minutes ago just click on this link

It is pretty self explanatory.

We are number 312 within standard processing time. Can't help but feel for the people who are out of standard processing times.

Be sure to fill in your official timeline (not your sig) on VJ and you too will be on Igors list.

Well our package finally arrived. A day late but at least it got there. It arrived at 11:20 and was signed by a V Semegi.

So now we play the waiting game.... According to the Immigration Timelines, the average wait (over the past 6 months) from sending to receiving NOA 1 is 8 days.

So going by that we should hope to get ours on the 23rd of December. We'll see I guess.

Will keep you up to date. come on man, where are all the December filers..ha.

It looks promising that the latest N02A was granted to someone that applied 4 months ago.

Hi to all,

We are in December 2008 filers too..we filed our petition for I-129F K-1Visa @ VSC last December 03, 2008 & got NOA1 hard copy last December 11, 2008 (but dated Dec. 05).

Hope processing time will more fastest..Just praying so hard that no problems / delays will be encounter.

YAY!! THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE ARRIVED YESTERDAY! The petition will be in the mail on Monday!! Hehe I've given him specific instructions about how to assemble and send off the package! I hope for a speedy approval for all of us!! I will keep you guys updated.

Hey does anyone know if the Service Centers are open on Christmas Eve? I am assuming not on Christmas Day, but back open on 26th (Boxing Day for Canadians...lol) Just wondering because if the package arrived by Wednesday by USPS Express that would be cool!

Hey that's great guys.

Well use tomorrow to get it all perfect. Check it over, make sure it's all in order and your cheque/money order is the correct amount. Deanna did a really good job of organizing ours and tabbed it all out into sections to make it easier for the adjudicator. We sent it via USPS express which was supposed to arrive the next day by 3 but arrived the next day so we got our money back.

The I-129F is in the mail!! He decided to send it today! I keep worrying myself that I missed something! I need to calm down or else i will go wacko by 6 months!! Even though today is a Saturday and it probably won't go anywhere, at least its out of our hands now!! I think he just sent it priority delivery confirmatinon and tracking, the lady told him it may not get there by Christmas Eve, but if it does then all the better! It really sucks because where he lives and where I used to its worthless to spend the money to get it next day, you always have to add an extra day when figuring out arrival time to and from. Anywhos I will update my timeline!!

Well Congrats on sending it out. That is one small step closer to your goal. I hope it arrives soon for you, as long as you can track it at least you know when it gets there. Although they are pretty slow at updating the tracking site.

Deanna was almost a little sad to let it go after we put so much work into it.

Alright then guys, thanks for keeping up posted and for updating your timeline. It's kind of nice to see yourself on the list and check to see what number you are and how many places you have climbed.

We are checking the mail everyday to waiting on our NOA1. Hope it arrives soon.
