I485 Document Expiration Date?

Greetings,

Just wondering if it's a problem that the current I-485 document listed on the USCIS site has an expiration date of 9/30/2008 -- is there a newer version that I'm missing, or that we as a community should know about?

pre-p.s. also, is it OK if my wife keeps her last night?

Thanks!

It's actually the revised date "Form I-485 (Rev. 05/27/08) Y" that's important - and there's no new(er) edition available.

(Do you mean her last Name? If so, the answer is yes.)

Ignore the OMB date at the top of the form, that date is not the form's expiration date, it is a date that USCIS has to complete a survey conducted by Office of Management and Budget, for the paper work reduction act.

Edition Date : 5/27/08. Previous editions accepted.

Look at the date at the bottom of the form, the "Edition Date", NOT the OMB date.
