Hello everyone!

My name is Tina and I am engaged to a wonderful man named Alex.

We received our NOA1 on December 9th, but my check hasn't been cashed yet. I'm trying to figure out if I should be worried about that.

Just hopping along to add my name to the December VSC Filers, the wait's starting to get really unbearable now and so I had a poke around on here and found this thread - great news on December filers receiving NOA2s already!

Package Mailed: 26/12/08

NOA1: 30/12/08

Also, as far as I am aware my US sponsor didn't recieve an email copy of the NOA1, does this mean they have an incorrect email address for her and this should be corrected, or is it just one of those things? Is it possible something important could get mislayed with them attempting to send messages to an address we cannot reach?

Thanks guys and Good Luck to you all!

Welcome Browno & best of luck with your journey :star:

Not much longer and our wait will be over.

Me again :)

I was just poking around the London embassy site looking for information about the Medical because I wasn't really sure, I come shocked to find that it comes with a £180 fee () and can only be done in one of 2 offices in London. Traveling to London is a long and arduous process in itself, but I did find the following in the Emabssy's literature about the Medical:

What if I cannot secure a medical appointment before the visa interview takes place?

Don’t worry. You should still keep the visa appointment and, once the medical has been completed, the results will be delivered directly to the Embassy. When they have been received, the Embassy will contact you concerning the next steps that you are required to take.

Would it be ok to simply arrange the interview within a day of each other to avoid 2 seperate trips to the capital? Or would the folks at the Embassy need a "good" reason for me not to have the Medical enough time beforehand?

Thanks guys

Quick question...Who receives the NOA2? Do both the petioner and beneficiary or just the petitioner? The reason i ask is, I am currently in the military and deployed in a location that i can not disclose until August 1st. Im worried they will only mail the NOA2 to my address back in the US. However, I do not reside at that address anymore. I moved out before i left to save myself money by not having to pay rent. Thanks in advance for your responses.

ps. We are almost there everyone!

I just realized that this was probably not the best place to post this question. I've already reposted so dont worry about answering. Thanks

Just a quick question: Where do you see if your case has been touched or not? Does it says so when you check your case online?

If you are registered in the USCIS web site, then you log in and there is a date that would change if you have a touch. I think it says last updated right next to your case number.

Good luck to another person from Bulgaria. Wish you speedy journey.
