How long your I-94 expiration date from your US entry date?

For those that have already entered the US on a k3 VISA, how far is your i 94 expiration date from your u.s. ENTRY date?

Let's assume the worst case and my wife's visa expire on December 15, 2008. We decide to enter on December 14, 2008. What would her i 94 expiry date be? How long is the normal allowance? Can this date be requested by the petioner or visa holder? Or, is the totally up to the immigration officer to stamp a date that s/he feels appropriate?

The I-94 should be good for two years from the date of entry. If they make a mistake, it can be corrected. What I'm not certain about is whether the privilege of multiple entries continues after the visa expires. I haven't dealt with that one. I know the visa can be extended.

I don't think ( and it shouldn't be an automatic grant ) for k3 holders to have the privilege of multipe entries after the visa expires. Wouldn't make sense to have an expiry date in the first place. Visa extension is likely the case/exit alternative if the holder wishes to extend. K3 OR NOT the visa expiration should be handled like any other visas.

Do you know of a link or reference where there is something in writing/law that determines USCIS/immigration officer to grant the two year on i 94 validity?

What I want to avoid is entering on December 14 and finding out they only grant a 6 month i 94 stay or worse even sooner.

Everybody else I know had the same result. It's the standard but you can look for hard documentation as well as I can.
