Just went to the mailbox and fount three (Wife and two kids) interview letters for January 22 in Tukwila, Washington. I sure wish it was in Portland (12 miles from our house) but I won't complain to much. Because it will be the new year does anyone know if I will have to have 2008 tax returns prepared?

No, they cannot ask you for your 2008 returns at that time for two reasons.

  1. Employers have up to 14 days after past Jan 31 to send you W2 and or 1099.
  2. You have until April to file your returns.
In your case you may not even have all the documents in your possession to be able to file your 2008 return.
