so i found out what happend to my k1 after it was put in ap after my approval..according to Dos..Nvc lost it.

dos is confused..uscis is confused, and nvc is confused.

my noa2 was not revoked by nvc, or sent back to uscis. why i got that letter after telling me it was in AP i don't know, or the one saying it went to the consuulate is unclear,or the email from nvc saying it went back to csc.

the only trace anyone has of it is when it was sent out august 7th to Nvc. and that nvc got it a week later. now it has vanished into thin air.

DOS resolution specialist and visa specialist have contacted nvc and uscis, there is a service request..my congressman is calling every day as well as my fiance, and the lawyer.

i am sooo peeved right now. it's been a months since my Noa2.....

I'm still in ap still....been 15 actual working days....counting it from like, monday-friday (5days) so its been since Friday the 14th/Aug so its been 15 working days....i AM slowly going postal..yes...very depressing...those people who filed the same time as me are already through if not in the USA now...i'm feeling like cussing every word in the book right now.

It won't be long, Allie. I think we were 35 days (not just weekdays), so you should be along shortly. We speculated that there must be some odd security check there that takes ages to complete.. or a bunch of people are in line to have it done. Something.

I have my fingers crossed for you!!

I just have two words: Horror Story!

I hope they get it straightened out soon. I would think USCIS has an electronic copy of some sort, or do they work with only paper?

Awww... I'm not sure any of our group is actually in the US by now. You'll get out soon. I know you will!

I know those feelings exactly, Allie.

How is the reading coming along? What are you reading? I need to find some books, as well, or start rereading ones I already have.

Well.....my girl is doing her medical right now even though we are still at the NVC. Best to get something else out of the way with the luck we've had so far. Most of her friends have already scheduled their interviews and some even already passed them while we still wait.

My thoughts are still with you all in this thread. We've given up on our K3 at NVC in AP, probley come out of AP when we complete the NVC for the CR1. Very best wishes to you all.

Beth

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I hope this week is productive....thats all I have to say! As with doing the medical, there is no point till the consulate has the info for that person cause the doctor's going to send it to them and well, they wont have their info and wont know what to do with it!

Anyway, good luck all. Lisa, as with books, i like Nora Roberts, Danielle Steele kind of books, definately not the sappy romance stuff but also not gory mystery's either...i'm sorta picky....lol

It's common for filipinas to fail the skin test for TB, and the sputum test, if failed, can add many more weeks or months to the journey. Wanted to get one more thing out of the way, and we did. She just finished up day 2 with a clean bill of health.

well im really sorry to say im here im in ap too.......i was thinking he would get his interview by the first of oct. what upsets me is the fact that that noa2 is only good until dec 25th if they hang on to us a nvc very long the noa2 will be out dated before they send it i hate waiting i normally dont do a lot of complaining about waiting but something snapped i have just had enough ................pretty stupid of me to feel that way.........but i feel two years was enough they should have just expedited us thru.........

anyways i hope we all get out very fast

Well, as Lisa said, hopefully we will be less than 35 days AP, so I have package 3 printed out and filled out and sent Nigel my financial stuff so thats done, and so all he has to do is book the medical as soon as the embassy receives our stuff, then supposedly on our timeline/data thing says it takes about 60 days to get a interview, soooo, say, late November interview maybe early December, then he can come here for xmas...so thats my ultimate goal here hopefully. I've seen some people get interviews earlier than 60 days, but you know, its just WE WANT PROGRESS! Thats all, so I told Nigel, we'll know more by the end of the month hopefully....but well, we're here to rant and complain cause well...we're all in the same boat!
