Hello everyone!

First, I just wanna thank all of you for your help here at visajourney -- We probably would have struggled a lot more w/out you guys. :)

I was reviewing the AOS interview notification letter and came across an what-to-bring item that's somewhat unclear.

"Your petitioner's Birth Certificate and your petitioner's evidence of US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status."

Is it truly required to bring the petitioner's "foreign" birth cert to the interview even when s/he is a naturalized citizen of US?

Thanks!

If you have it then bring it, but yes the Naturalization cert should be proof enough of US citizenship. More than likely they meant "OR" meaning PROOF of US citizenship, being a US Birth Cert "OR" Naturalization Cert.

Fill in profile details PLEASE. You did not come from N/A, and you did not file for N/A http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01
