Just over 200 miles from Pensacola to New Orleans. The part I don't get is that there's an FBI office in downtown Pensacola? Are they not qualified to take prints? Can't these agencies work together???

I wouldnt want the FBI to mix our records. Imagine since they have access to "criminal data" and if they compare fingerprints to immigration data, somewhere down the line, a person could get denied for the misinformation data that is found in FBI (unless you are really sponsoring someone who is a criminal and wanted by the FBI). Let FBI do their job working with nationwide criminals and known terrorists, and USCIS do their's with immigration.

The office that does the fingerprints is an Application Support Center and don't don't do interviews...the interviews are done at the nearest field office to where you live...

Ahh I see....

Thanks for your explaining :)
