10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

I just cant believe it! Just like that. Had my interview in Lagos, Nigeria today. And i tell you what, it was the easiest interview i ever attended. The consular made me so relaxed, i felt like i was talking to a friend. Didnt even last 7mins, geez. And all these months ive been so sick, nervous, anxious, just racking my brains about whatever will happen at the interview. Thanks for all the advice. Tayo, thank you so much. Valentine, i really appreciate the calls and support, thank you too. Thank all VJ members. Whao, i cant believe this is all over, just like that. Getting my visa in 3days.

I miss my fiance like mad and just cant wait to be in his arms again.

For all those whose interviews will be coming soon, i'll pass on the same advice i got from others.

BE CONFIDENT, FRIENDLY, HAVE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS TOGETHER, MAKE SURE YOUR CASE IS THE BOMB.

(when i mean the bomb, make sure there is love all over your emails, chats, letters, pictures, etc. Real love can't be hidden. )

Wish ya'll all the best (and will post my whole experience asap.. just so excited now). :dance:

I got approved today at Montreal, Canada and I totally agree with you that it was stress free after all the STRESS that I went through wondering how the interview is gonna go - it was the easiest interview EVER, in fact I wouldn't even call it an interview - they just gathered my papers asked how and when we met and that's all

10/2/2006: NOA1's for AOS and EAD applications

10/13/2006: Biometrics taken

10/14/2006: NOA -- case transferred to CSC

10/30/2006: AOS approved without interview, greencard will be sent! :)

11/04/2006: Greencard arrives in the mail! :-D

... No more USCIS for two whole years! ...
