Hi VJ family,i need an info.again from you. My fiancee was laid off last October and he just got a job now.I am worried because i am sure that my interview is fast approaching but i still don't have any documents from him yet. Is the pay stub he had last October is still useful? The requirement is at least three recent pay stub. If i will schedule my interview in January can i still use it? Another thing, about the employer letter. Can he just get a letter from the employer he had ?Or he need to get an employer letter to his new employer.PLS....i really need your advice now...Thanks in advance...

The information about employment and income must be true and correct on the date the form is signed in front of the Notary. If he's unemployed at the moment and didn't already complete the I-134, I would advise a co-sponsor. Check that, you're in the PI. Better find a new job, even if it's temporary for the holidays etc.

He already got a job actually, and he did not fill up yet the I-134. I think Manila Embassy don't accept a co-sponsor.

No, they don't tend to for K-1's in Manilla unless (in very few circumstances I've seen) the beneficiary is just out of school.

What pushbrk is saying is that where he used to work will not matter. What they care about is where is currently working and that he is making enough so that you will not become a public charge once you are here.

His tax papers should show his past income and the fact that he has been gainfully employed in the past. Hopefully that will help prove that he is a worker.... but what he puts on the I-134 needs to be as current and accurate as possible.

If he already has a new job and the income meets the minimum requirements then he's all set.
