I just want to know how many of you had a lawyer submit your application? I decided to do it all myself cause I think to pay $3,000 to fill out an application is just too much. Now I'm wondering if by hiring a lawyer the process would have moved faster.

I'm so desperate that I'm willing to volunteer myself at the Vermont Center on my days off to try to help myself and others move their applications faster. I'm going insane!!!!! :bonk:

Unfortunately a lawyer cannot help to speed up the process for you at USCIS or at the NVC. Most of us at VSC took 6 months or more to get our approval. Hopefully, Vermont will speed up some in the coming months.

Best of Luck!!
