Guys,

In order to keep track on progress on Service Centers, please post VSC approvals only in this post. This will give us an idea on how many days will take from NOA1 to NOA2. It would be nice if the moderators will make this a sticky post.

Thanks to everyone!

Well, the time line in this site is not really accurate because it shows you the time it takes since the mailing date and for some reason they are not all the same, some take 2 days like me and some takes up to a month for the NOA1 notice date. What I was trying to do is having a time line from NOA1 notice date, so we can have a better understanding on how the Service Center behaves and specially at different times of the year, that's all.

umm this is what the entire progress reports thread is for... as well as personal and VJ timeline features... igor's list... etc.

igors list clearly defines the sent and Noa1 dates.

USCIS states that they will process in the order received (not the date noa1 (I-797) was issued).

The adjutication process is not the same for all. Not all adjuticators are created equally and security checks done at every level of this process can hold you up for any length of time. Hence the disparity in timelines.

VJ is a very small percentage of actual filers. While it can be great to have a better idea of 'when'...it can be very dangerous for your psyche to compare your case so closely to others. ;)

good luck.

Thanks for the information, I understand what you said but I just wanted to have a sticky post with NOA2 approvals. I know the circumstances are different for every case(RFE, adjudicator, etc) but if you look at the majority of the cases, under normal circumstances the time line is about the same.

You see the link that was posted is not accurate either, for example in my case it says that my last updated date is 09/30/08 but it is 09/24/08.

Recapping, I just wanted ti have a post with only updated NOA2.

Thanks for your help!

"updated" on igor's list means the last time YOU updated your profile here on VJ, not when USCIS touched your case.

Igor's list/VJ stats have no affiliation with uscis.

We can't create a sticky post of approvals only as it is something that is already broken down from the database in the timelines both here and on Igor's list.

If you want to know the most recent VSC only approvals all you have to do is check the timeline function.
