Hi,

I am a US naturalized citizen petitiong for my mom . I recived NOA1 and in the section petitioner says:

PETITIONER: A123456465465

McCown, Viktoria N.

Notice Type: Receipt Notice

Amount received $355.00

Section: Parent of U.S. Citizen, 201 ( b ) INA

Why in the petitioner section they are using my A# and down below they are saying

Section: Parent of U.S. Citizen, 201 ( b ) INA

Is this how they do it for naturalized citizens or they mistake and consider me a resident?

On the Form I-130 on the question 10. Alien Registartion Number I did put my A# there beacause I was adviced to do that here in the forum even that I am a citizen.

but on question

13. If you are a U.S. citizen, complete the following:

I did comlete the following and of course send them my Ctizenship ceriticate.

So again, do you know why they are using A# in the petiotioner name section? Anybody else like this?

Thanks

Because once you receive an A# from US Immigration, you keep it for life even if you become a US citizen.

That right. Check your Citizenship Certificate. It has an A# on it.

I heard Diana was the person to ask this question. We sent in our final package to adjust the status, it was returned with 2 "Notice of Action" I-797C forms. Both said "the check amount is incorrect or has not been provided." They did not provide us with the specific problem. I really don't know why Im paying these crazy fees if the service is this horrible. If I ran my business like this, I would be out of business.

Our situation is this: She came in on the K-1 visa, she was married within the 90 days. She came with her daughter who is now 6 years old as of Tuesday. The amount we sent was $1610 on one check. $930 for Sofi's paperwork, $80 for the biometrics, and $600 for Annie(a child who accompanies the adult and the paperwork is submitted at the same time.

We were submitting the I-485 and I-131(Application for Travel Document) along with all the other forms. Affidavit of support, notice of e-mail notification, etc.

We were sent 2 I-797C forms. One stating the correct filing fee was $930 plus the $80 for fingerprints, the other noting the I-131 Travel Document, saying the correct fee was $305.

One the USCIS government website, it says in plain English that if you submit the I-131 with the rest of the I-485, that there were no additional fees.

The question is, what do they want? because they dont appear to really know. All I know is they want more but its up to me to guess what that might be.

Do you or anybody know what we might have done in-correctly?

Thanks in advance,

Derek y Sofia

TENGO MUCHA FE QUE TODO NUESTRO PROCESO VA A SALIR MUY PRONTO !!! THANKS GOD FOR ALL THINGS THAT YOU GIVE ME, I LOVE YOU !!!!!
