For us, when I called the info line I didn't get a touch, but when I followed the prompts for an RFE, then I did get touched. I don't know if that is the same for everyone though.

Timeline

AOS

Mailed AOS, EAD and AP Sept 11 '07

Recieved NOA1's for all Sept 23 or 24 '07

Bio appt. Oct. 24 '07

EAD/AP approved Nov 26 '07

Got the AP Dec. 3 '07

AOS interview Feb 7th (5 days after the 1 year anniversary of our K1 NOA1!

Stuck in FBI name checks...

Got the GC July '08

A "touch" is not necessarily the result of a phone call to the USCIS, neither is it an indication of significant progress in a given case. I called the USCIS and did not get a "touch". Touches are not an accurate indicator of any change to or handling of a case.

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

When I called USCIS I did not get a touch.

We went through the whole process, got our NOA2 , I called twice for different matters and we did not receive any touches nor any updated on the site whatsoever. Go figure. Jorge :blink:
