My friends and your loved ones,

What will be on the dinner table on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day? Will it be the traditional turkey, or will it be Filipino food, or will it be some other sumptuous delight?

We'll have turkey with all the trimmings plus candied sweet yams, tossed green salad, pumpkin & pecan pie, sweet corn, garlic bread, etc., to be chased by chardonnay. BTW, my turkey is 20 lbs. because some of my relatives from Las Cruces, N.M. will be with me.:thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks for asking. We haven't decided between pizza or chimichangas for Thanksgiving. We had Turkey yesterday at the Filipino-American Community Thanksgiving dinner. We will have turkey again at work on Thursday. My husband hates turkey :( Too much L-eryptophan. But I love turkey. Yum, yum! :D

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

My husband will just deep fry it. He will inject seasoning and marinate it for a night. He did it before when we hosted a baby shower party for a fellow Vjr and it was so good. We used like 3gallons of oil

I'm on vacation and currently spending the whole Thanksgiving week at my daughter's in Sugarland, Texas. On Thursday, my daughter and her husband will prepare a turkey dinner and I will make a Filipino seafood delight on the side. A bottle or two of my favorite chauvignon blanc will also be on the table.:thumbs::thumbs:

I will stay at home, stare out the window, watch the snow blow across the yard and wonder what the sky looked like when the grass was green...
