Ok, I have been reading the boards-and like everyone else I am confused, can anyone shed light...?

Tell me if I am " thinking" right as far as anyone knows...( and I know it could just be conjecture at this point)

My NOA date is Mar 6th at CSC; so obviously I am caught in the IMBRA delay time frame.....

As far as anyone knows, will I get the new I-129F petition to fill in and send back like an RFE?

If so; after they receive it, will it be processed like an RFE ( in other words processed fairly quickly).

Does that make any sense?

Or am I more confused than I thought?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks

Michele

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

could be. nobody knows. there isn't even a complete confirmation yet that there will be a new form for those of us in this postition to have to fill out. right now it is just a wait and see

However it transpires.....there will be an RFE to comply with the IMBRA. They are going to have to get the required information somehow or there is no point to this whole excercise. As far as timeframe to do this....that would be a big guess at this stage wiith the implementation of this new law.

Thanks for your responses...

I promised myself I was not going to get crazy with impatience at this whole process...because going crazy does not make anything happen faster-it's just the NOT KNOWING what is going on or how long it will go on for or what is happening even in a rough time frame that's driving me nuts. I know I am not the only one, either.

They also removed the "it's taking 90-120 day" message on the USCIS status check site; and that in itself is irritating too.

Part of my original post was thinking-out-loud type of thing, and part looking for someone that maybe had more info than me!

Thanks again all
