The finale was amazing!

So Jacob's bad friend orchestrated the whole thing that happened to the losties in order to find his loophole and kill Jacob. Awesome!

The actors did superbly in this episode, especially Elizabeth Mitchel, Josh Holloway and of course, Michael Emerson.

So now THE big question is: did they erase all or did they in fact caused the incident that leads them to the isle, or, are they gonna land in LA or reappear in 2007, on the island? Hmmmmmmmmm...

w'hy did the guy want to kill jacob?

The specifics aren't clear, but they a had three century+ rivalry. They may have been the last two people alive from two warring factions; something like that seems to be suggested by their conversation at the beginning of the episode.

What do you think of the theory that Jacob did not die? the reasoning goes that the anti-Jacob could not kill Jacob in other for the loophole to work; coupled with the possibility that Ben did not kill, that Jacob 'died' due to being burned in the fire when pushed by the anti-Jacob.
