Hello today we recieved in the mail a RFE for

" In order to process your application further the petitioner/sponsor on form I-864, Affidavit of Support must submit all federal income tax documentation submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year."

I know for a fact that i sent them Tax transcripts from year 2004, 2005, 2006.

I sent them a letter from my employer and some recent paystubs.

Also i got my companys payroll adminstrator to print out my 2007 W-2 record ( which was just a faxed copy which didnt really look legit but it was)

So i want to know how can i get a 2007 federal income tax documents, Can i send them a Transcript of 2007's??

How can i get this?

When i do recieve my 2007 tax papers, Do i have to mail anything else back to them except the requested information and the RFE letter??

Please help me find a way to get 2007 tax papers. I forget the website/ phone number how i got my old tax records and im not sure if i can get 2007's the same way.

Did you file a federal tax return for 2007? If so, why can't you make a photo copy and send it in to USCIS?

I recommended that you send a cover letter with your RFE response.

Good luck!

Yes i filed for 2007, But i found the phone number and i requested for a tax transcript for 2007 and i will get it within 10-15 days.

Is this all i need??? Has anyone had this problem and solved it?

According to the RFE - they want your most recent tax return, which is 2007. Once you have that - send it in along with the RFE letter (make a copy for yourself) and you should be fine.

I sent in a 2007 copy ... but got the same RFE, so I sent in every 1098, 1099, and W2 I received with another copy of the 2007 return. They better like it :P or else I'm screwed because that's all I got !
