As far as I understand, after the file got transferred to CSC, it will usually take 2 weeks to 1 month to get approval.

It should be very soon.

My file got touached again (1/30/09) today. Something is happening over there (CSC).

My Dear Fellow November Filers: go take a walk around the block because it is going to be awhile....

Nobody from September and October have been receiving the NOA-2 yet. (there is 2 months to add to our wait time).

The USCIS webiste lists the current processing time average as 7.3 months. So add yet another month or two. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

WIth all the VSCs added to the CSC stack, California's former rate of 6 months must surely slow down. Probably similar to the 7.3 month reported overall average wait time.

Any way you look at it, we are in for a 5 to 7 month wait for the NOA2.

First rule when it comes to USCIS: Never ever trust their website, especially when it comes to processing times. It clearly states there that those dates are from end of November. CSC has to post 6 months there because they are within their processing time frame. Hint: Look closer at the Immigration Timelines...

On the other hand it doesn't make any sense for them to touch our files that often. Why should they even open them when they are not working on them?

I was being called pessimistic here when I wrote that the last touches where just file-pushing touches. No offense, but you're posts are pessimistic.

OK, let's see if I can be a bit more optimistic for everyone!! The good news is that most of the July folks have received their NOA2s !!!! Congrats to you all, I am sure it has felt like forever. A new year has begun (Year of the Ox !) which opens the door to Spring and all the good things that come with the change of season. Change is good, right!

A few of the September folks are clearing the hurdle and in a month or so I am sure the majority will be across the finish line along with some of the Halloween crew. Let's get the gobblins out of the way because all of the Novermber folks are awaiting their own "Thanksgiving Day Parade" in March ... April... and May.

Everyone please keep us all updated, because we are the only "REAL" data we can count on.

What I mean is, if I filed I-130 in November and I-129f a month later, is my I-130 losing a month because of this?
