Her flight out of LA has been delayed 1.5 hours so far... due to "Storms in Chicago".

I'm in Chicago, and we have had NO STORMS.

This is the second time that US domestic flights have been a severe aggravation.

Next time I am having her fly "Bob's Airline and Catering Service", becuz it cant possibly be any worse than AA and United.

At least she is in the country...

OMG....that's just horrible though!! I hope she's not delayed much longer, I know you must be anxious to see her! I know I was when Pat came here this summer...LOL!

ok ..now reading all this is starting to get me nervous :( ... we havent received our NOA1 yet and will be going to hawaii to meet up with fiance in less than two weeks for only 10 days so Im just going to say Im meeting up with family and friends for Thanksgiving...hope that works!

Hi MzMo1102,

Now that you have been to Hawaii and returned, I was wondering how your PoE went?

My fiancee will be visiting me in Hawaii next month and I'm wondering what she will encounter at Honolulu PoE. She will be entering on the VWP (Singapore passport), but on a flight from Sydney to Honolulu. Her visit will be for about 2 1/2 months. We are November K1 CSC filers.

What questions did they ask on PoE?

How did everyone else do during their holiday visits?

Thanks,

Greg

Well, my Fiancee comes next week on the 12th, and I'm suddenly having doubts about her gaining entry to the US. After reading as many posts as I could about the PoE experiences etc, I'm pretty sure she will be turned away.

She is going to have a letter from her Landlord stating that her room is being held for her with all her belongings. She is going to have a letter from her mother stating that she expects her back, as well as bank statements, credit card statements, and of course her Return Flight information.

However, she spent the summer with me (80 some days), returning to NZ 3 months ago, and this visit is for 80 days (the entire holiday season.) Also, she has no job. From what I can gather, those two things will cause her to be denied entry.

Is there anyone out there who made two 3-month visits to their loved one in the same year?

I hope I am wrong, but my confidence is broken.

(Also, will it hurt our K1 process if she is denied?)

Hey...

both of you try not to worry about it, looking nervous going through the POE will definately rouse suspision, even if you have nothing to hide.

I went over to see my boy in Vegas for last christmas, returned in march, went back in may through til august. POE was fine, both times i just showed my return ticket and answered "my boyfriend" when they asked whom i was staying with. But as many of us know, it really does depend on how much of a s@%t day the officer on the POE you go through is having.

I have always tried to get as near to the front as i can on the POE line, believing in my head that if they look up and see a full flight of approx 400 people waiting in line, they will ask fewer questions to get the line moving...ha ha!

good luck to you guys...happy holidays!!
