NOA2 for K1 petition

Hello friends.

I entered the U.S. with K1 fiance visa.

Could someone please tell me if NOA2 from K1 petition is one of the necessary documents to bring to AOS interview?

Hi there, Someone posted that on here yesterday or the day before saying they didn't realize they had to have the NOA2 for their interview, but I could be mistaken. Seems kinda ridiculous when you think of it though, if you didn't get a NOA2, you wouldn't have got the K1 Visa, that should be proof enough. Check back through yesterdays posts, they may give you some insight. Hopefully someone else will come along with a better answer for you as me and my honey are still waiting on our NOA2. Yes, you will need to include a copy of NOA2 of K-1 when you file for AOS.

Download a copy of the I-485 instruction. It tells you to send a photocopy of NOA2 if AOS is based on a K1.

I already filed I-485 with copy of NOA2.

The problem is that the original is missing.....Since we made copies of NOA2 when we received it, we used those copies to include them with AOS application.

What I am concerned about is AOS interview.

Are we required to bring original NOA2 for K1 with us?

I had our original at the interview and had sent in a copy with the AOS packet. The IO did look at it. She looked at everything we brought and was checking things off of a list she had and was writing notes about everything, but didn't keep anything we brought (ie: copies of bills, etc with both names on them). If you've got the time, keep looking for your original. If you don't have it at the time of the interview, just explain that you've misplaced it, but have a copy of it and that you sent a copy in with the AOS.
