We The People - Document Preparation Company

Has anyone used a legal document preparation company to file their paperwork? I know someone who owns a "We the People" franchise and I am having them take care of the K1 Visa paperwork. I did this because I was filing two K1 petitions (one for another friend) and didn't want to have to deal with gathering his information which has causing my paperwork to be delayed. Plus I don't want the blame if something goes wrong with his K1 (IE. he lied extensively even though I told him not to).

Granted I'm still going to do a lot of work to make sure it is sent properly, but for those people who are not detailed in filling out paperwork it might be a good idea to have someone else prepare it first.

I can't speak to document preparers since it's a pretty simple task to complete the forms on your own (especially when you have a great resource like VJ). However I'd definitely advise against completing paperwork for anyone other than myself. There's a slippery slope I'm never going to go down.

Yeah I know this site is great, but extenuating circumstances (IE. family ties) require me to be more helpful than I want. At least the preparers will deal with it and take all the blame. Actually the rest of the family wanted me to pay a lawyer which I found unreasonably priced. BTW. Our preparers are also our translators since both owners are Turkish. I'm sure they won't charge us for the translation which will offset the use of the preparer service.
