Today I called USCIS and tried to ask for a "Action request" on my family's AOS, but Richard from USCIS told me that unfurtunately he could not do that and that I needed to wait because they are now processing applications from March.

What I don't understand, why Richard mentioned that they are proccessing March filers and I see on this forum people that applied on April, May and June, and they are already approved. What the f#@&* is going on at USCIS???? Why am I still at NBC?????

I voted today for a change and I hope that change comes to our Nation soon 'cause the way it is at USCIS is unaceptable :angry:

March filers have been processing for a while now... I applied in March for example and I already have the green card in my hands, others who applied same time as me where done way before I did, so it all really depends of the local office and the backlog of work. Maybe you case is delayed for some reason, I noticed you had a RFE that might've delayed your processing time.

I'm sure everything will be ok though. Good luck in your journey!

I don't think the processing times USCIS tells people are accurate at all. For example, the website says they are processing AOS's received in February at my local office, and yet I applied in June and already have my GC. I don't understand how they work these timings out at all! I don't think you should be too discouraged though, I agree with unforgettable fire that maybe it was the RFE that delayed your case. I wish you the best of luck and hope you hear something soon :) (PS - hubby is voting for change too - hope we get it!)

Removing conditions:

10/9/10 - Package sent to Vermont

10/13/10 - NOA1 date, received 10/18
