I just received our NOA for our AOS application. I was wondering if anyone knows what the ASC code refers to that is stated on the NOA?

ASC refers to the Application Support Center, which is where you will do biometrics. The code will tell what information will be taken: fingerprints, photo and/or signature.

The nearest USCIS office that will handle fingerprints is an ASC.

that is very strange since she had photos and fingerprints taken at the US Embassy in her home country, as well as at the point of entry and now another set to be taken? do they not keep a record of these prints/photos/signatures when they take them especially at the POE

For K-Visas they only take thumb prints at consulate, and check at POE, AOS requires ALL 10 fingers printed, and EAD needs another set of thumb prints, they are also taking new pictures to be printed on green-card and EAD card.

on the contrary they took pix and fingerprints for her both at the consulate AND at POE. all 10 fingerprints! now picture i can understand to be placed on the card LOL!
