Okay, I received today a letter with notice date of yesterday 27 Oct. It's a white paper with my name and address and my A number all that correctly.

States: Please submit all of the document(s) indicated with a check mark below:

The only CHECKED line says:

X Other: The Vermont Service Center is currently processing I-751 applications/petitions received Nov 25,2007. Pleaseuse receipt number EACXXXXXXX when checking on your petition online.

There is a list of things that are not check and some don't apply to me anymore like I-864 and things like that...in other lines says "the marriage ceritificate for the marriage between: empty space"

The only line that is NOT check that says something after the two dots are this one:

" Individual Federal Income Taxes for Tax Year 2006 for: the Joint Sponsor"

The file they are working on (my file) is the latest I send with the updated waiver with my divorce decree and everything on July this year but my original joint file was on Dec last year.

So in general I DONT KNOW WHAT THE OFFICER wants...I just have the name and that's it. The letter (which I think is a RFE) does says at the end "Please return this letter with the required document(s) by the date indicated below. Failure to submit all of the required documents by this date will result in the denial of your application or petition"

There is NO DATE only the name of the officer "B. Adams" and CC: FILE.

I don't know what I suppose to send to them? Please help.

Cherr 1980, it look like they need further evidence. You can send again your divorce decree copy and other docs with the notice. Make a new file with all pertained documents to your case and send them without delay. I think thats the option.

Thanks for the responses!!

I calmed down and read EVERYTHING again and turns out it did not come from VSC it came from my District Office in Atlanta. I went for INFOPASS (to check out my status and so forth) yesterday Monday 27th...and I can't recall the name of the officer who attended me and she was very nice. It sounds like it's a follow up because the letter does not come from VSC AND is handwritten outside the envelope.

I anyway sending a letter back, she had already a copy of my divorce decree, she asked for it when I went for INFOPASS anyway. And I made another INFOPASS for next Wednesday...I think I covered.

Thanks guys!!!
