i have to work over the weekend. blech.

what show are you going to, if you dont mind me asking

I'm going to a gun show. the theme for the show is collectible guns ... the old stuff.

I've taught my wife the difference between the "old stuff / collectible" and modern stuff. I enjoy shooting the older stuff ... black powder cartridge rifles (not a muzzle loader) ... that use vernier style aperture style sights (not optic). Ive learned quite a bit of the "lost art" to be accurate with these rifles (130 year old designs) ... and competing in 500-1000 yard matches is a challenge and ... well fun.

work ... as in work work ...yea I'll have to do some of that too for a few hours this weekend .... yuck

Yea, maybe your right... :D ... What Sheri doesn't understand is that I have to be the 3rd wheel. I am by myself for 5 1/2 weeks... Ruchie had to go back to the Philippines because her mother is very sick. I am really trying to be a 3rd wheel here. :P

do you have the proper "chauffeur" hat?

If not ... wear a suit and offer to drive them. Who knows ... the pictures taken from the rear view mirror ... well ... you will share ... right?

humm ... could also be time to check out all those old movies you've always wanted to watch .... yet were afraid someone would know you watched them :P

hope things are doing okay with her mom.

actually ... for me ... meeting different people is a lot better than the non-stop political bashing threads in OT.

Who knows what will happen here ... I just might learn something new  ... it that so bad?

i'm sorry i miss understood your intentions. i'm tired of the political threads in the OT too. can't wait for Nov.5. lemme know if you need some tagalog or visayan translations. :)

Just stopped by to say hello .. and to ask for a simple request ...

Will it be possible for this thread .. call it a Friday thread ... to remain just a friendly thread?

Any weekend Plans?

Definitely not!

Not unless you post a new picture of your twins. I can hardly see their faces in your avatar but I'm sure they are cute.

Where are you anyway? You said it's your Saturday now. It's only Friday in Texas and Brazil. Are you somewhere in Asia?
