Looking for the experienced to give some insight as to the best U.S point of entrry with a K1

Since I wont be able to fly to Manila myself and travel with my Honey, I want to make it as easy as possible for entry for her.

I'm in Florida, so she will have at least 1 connection. But what's best LAX, Chicago, San Francisco, Kennedy ?????

Thanks in advance .........

Not sure anyone will be able to compare PsOE.

Applicants typically only ever get to experience one POE: the one they pass through.

My guess is that the experience is more likely to depend on the friendliness of immigration officer than anything else.

NW has many gateways to the US and it could offer you a lot of options for connecting flights depending on the connection time of course... a direct flight and one flight direction the better... it is actually the change in time zone that is stressing than the length of flight....most likely, the easiest for her would be Detroit, MI, although sometimes NW offers free stops in LAX...if she has some friends to visit in LA then a good time to stop by overnight before flying to Florida...just a thought...

Probably the best would be the least crowded in my opinion.

I would thing LAX, JFK, NY, Miami would be the most crowded.

For me I can't stand LAX airport.

Not sure there is a best or worst, to me if I was coming to USA for the first time it wouldn't matter....

I have a friend who's POE was Hawaii, she said... woooot!, No no sweat since the people there are mostly filipinos.

I never travel to USA, but based from her experience I would suggest Hawaii.

Claudeth didn't have any problems with LAX and said the officer interviewing her was extremely nice. From deboarding the plane, going through immigration and picking up her luggage it only took about 40 minutes. Good luck

is one hour interval between connecting flight at POE enough to go through immigration? won't I end up missing the next flight?

I always have used JFK, they are very friendly, that was my POE when I came as a resident for the 1st time but the most important thing about it is that IS THE ONLY ONE THAT GIVES YOU A EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

depends on the POE and the time of day you are arriving but typically the answer is NO....

YMMV
