Does anyone know what is faster to get?

k3 is generally faster simply because it doesn't spend more than a few days at NVC whereas the CR/IR can take months to process through NVC, unless you diligently chase it through yourself using all the shortcuts etc..... in which case this can be reduced to about a month. In some countries, you can picket the USEM interview date yourself for the k3 visa, while NVC arranges the interview date for the CR/IR visa.

It depends on the embassy but for the most part the difference is not much, even if you don't follow the shortcuts described in the NVC forum. Also, as far as interviews go, it depends on the embassy as well. In Colombia they follow the same rule as the NVC, the appointments are scheduled based on when they received the case, usually for the following month.

K3 is definitely faster...but with CR1/IR1 you enter the US with a Green Card.

It really depends on embassies. But I would say K3 is quicker by 1 to 2 months.

I would recommend CR1 as its cheaper.
