Basically it is also implies not to get his (or anyone's else head) cutoff by maintaining a low profile.

Our deepest condolences to the family of the young man. Tell your husband (and his friends and relatives also) to be brave. We are constantly living in dangerous times.

Wow this is very sad! I'm sorry for the family & friends of the young man. Very sorry that now this puts fear in your SO. I don't know the whole story but I would hate for them to pick on your SO just for money. If he can it would be good to move.

Unless they were both involved in something that your SO should worry about retaliation for, I would say there is little he can do except move on.

Considering my husband lost his father around this time last year and then having to deal with this he is really upset. He seems a little better but still worried about his life. It is scary to know he has to face this. The world is filled with hatred and cruelty ad little respect for other individuals. I want to go there to visit him beginning of 2009....but will stay in another part of Pakistan not Karachi. I do not plan to stay in Karachi anywhere near his home. His family can come to visit me elsewhere in Pakistan. If it is not deemed necessary for me to travel at that time then I will not go. I really want to go to see him again and sort through these family issues going on behing the scenes. I can not get the full pictire from over here in the USA. Atleast if I go I will know what is going on. I will defintely register my trip with the US Government though. How do I go about doing that?
