hi to all VJ's people im just curious about the photo that i send to my fiancee to send in USCIS.the photo i send him have a blue background on it.then wen i read it today for the instruction for the photo that i send to my fiancee need to have white background on it.the question is the photo that i send to my fiancee with blue background wud be fine?is not a problem to be delay with my fiancee approvel to the petition? :bonk: hope i can have rply soon to my family in VJ's thanks in advance for rply i appreciate it...God bless to all

I can not give you an assurance but they might send a letter requesting for another picture and this will probably delay the process..

I know people can make mistake but please take this as a learning process. READ first before you do anything..

did your fiance send the petition yet ? if so yeah they will send you REF cause the photo should be with background 2''x2''

Whilst you are waiting for the RFE - I would suggest you go to a photography studio and tell the photographer you need 2 US passport sized photos. They will instantly know what you mean. Be sure to specify what visa it is for as it all depends. A white or an off white colour is needed for the background colour. Follow the guides above to be sure. The best of luck :thumbs:

I am not sure but as what I read in some other cases, they are kinda strict with photos. They might send you RFE. You can go to "Kodak", just tell them you need US passport size photo. I guess, they are trained with the guidelines of taking US passport size photo because they are so aware how it should be done.

Hmmm i just read awhile ago of someone in here who "didnt" send any passport pictures for the 129f petition. And their petition was approved. She's done with her interview and currently waiting for her visa. Maybe it was overlooked? *shrugs* We dont know. It could be a ####### shot. You can cross your fingers. ;)

I'm also in the "Sent philippines style passport photo's" club, and when I first realized I had made a mistake, I looked around for posts about it and it seemed like people felt that USCIS was likely to let that slide for the NOA2 but propper pictures were likely to be required by the embassy/medical. Either way, you have to wait for an RFE before sending anything, so if you are worried about it, have her send new photo's with the correct background so that IF an RFE comes you can fix it as fast as possible.

HI there my name is karen i am also from davao sa mintal amoa..BTW Congrats on the visa!!! well right now my fiancee and i are preparing for I-129f and before we wrap everything up we are still gathering information and done alot of reading here in vj just to make sure wala mi mali... i myself also have alot of questions i hope if i have questions sana matabangan ko nmo..
