HI Everyone,

I have a question about he 'Forum Processing Flow Chart', number 10.Flow Chart

Number 10 says: Completed Forms sent to Consulate

Beneficiary sends completed Forms to U.S. Embassy

Is this necessary? Can she take them with her when she goes for the interview?

She can bring them during the interview but this may delay the approval process. I suggest that these be mailed to the Embassy and that backup documents be brought along just in case the Embassy wasn't able to receive them or worse misplaces the documents. These delays due to documents may take months to end.

Payxibka is correct. It really depends on the consulate and the CO. It's better to err on the side of caution as they say. :)

Since you are K-1, You bring the DS forms with you to the interview. you do not submit them to the Embassy before the interview.

That flow chart is not updated.

Now the beneficiary doesnt send the completed forms to the embassy. Instead she'll be bringing it with her on the day of her interview together with all the requirements.

They currently changed the process. Like the beneficiary can choose her interview date and the medical exam at SLMEC is walk in. Compared to before, USEM will be sending you a packet with the forms, list of requirements and your schedule for medical exam and interview.
