I sent all my documents like two weeks ago... My check was cashed and they sent me the Biometrics appointment for October, 16.

I just need a little bit of help with some question... I am the one that is applying... I don't really know if my wife should come with me to the appointment or I have to go alone...

And... what does it really mean? Are all my papers right? or they still can us for more documentation?? I am just wondering how long time i am gonna have to wait for everything...

Thanks a lot... i should upload some pictures of us and make my sign at the end of the post... like everybody does... thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

Biometrics is fingerscanning and signature for your EAD and Legal Permanent REsident CArd ( Green CArd). just bring your passport and the appointment letter. it won't take long esp if the Immigration office is not busy..

They can still send a request for more documentation...there's no fixed time, they say 6-12 months for the process but some get through quicker some take longer...the best thing to do is take it 1 step at a time and don't put to much stress on calulating a timeline...

The fact that your application is in process without RFE means that it looks okay, which means that USCIS found the documents they need. However, when they are gonna sort things out in detail they might still need some additional information or, if the evidence you submitted is not convincing, they might ask you for evidence. No guaranties I would say but definitively a good start. :)
