Packet 3 notification

Hi, i noticed that some people are sent email for their Packet 3. I'm currently filling my I-129F and G325a and i don't see they ask your email address in the forms?!?

For me the best communication is via email and i would prefer email more than snail mail because i travel alot.

How well did you look? Part D of the I-129F for starters.

USCIS always uses the USPS.

You can sign up for USCIS online notification but that is optional and not always trustworthy

I would say consulates using e-mail is the exception and not the rule

Sorry i forgot to mention that i a am the beneficiary so i only provide Part B information to my fiance. So i guess they will send email notification to my fiance as the petitioner?

You know for a fact that Jakarta uses only e-mail? I do not get that sense...

We got ours by email (from Jakarta) at least a month before I129F approval. I (the petitioner) just had to ask for it, it saved us some time and allowed us to take/have the medical results waiting before the embassy even received the package from NVC. Interview was 2 weeks after the package from NVC landed at the embassy.

Today the US embassy in Jakarta sent Packet 3 to my fiance (USC) by e-mail and then he forwarded to me.

Although I was expecting hard copy delivery, I suppose that is not always the case.
