Hello everyone ! I just check USCIS website and have something like " Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On ........, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register. "

So what is different between Card production ordered and Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident ? Because that makes me curious a little bit . Do I have my GC soon ? Thank for your help . Dave and Diep

Yes that means they are having a card produced and sent to you.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Congrats. And, yes it can be confusing. You should get that green card in just few days.

That means that your GC has been ordered for production. You will most probably receive a welcome notice as well but you definitely should receive a green card within 3 weeks. If you don't, go to the nearest USCIS office.
