Hello to everyone here! My fiance has been receiving notifications from NVC 3 times already saying that they already sent the petition to the foreign consulate which in my case here in Manila, Philippines. What does it mean? Do they keep on sending the petition many times? What's the normal duration on when it will be received by the foreign consulate?

Just curious! Thanks!

Just sounds like someone in the mail room forgot that they sent you the notice and sent you a few more just in case.

In our case we never got a notice, I knew the petition was sent on by calling and emailing NVC.

yes it is normal, particularly right before the government begins the new fiscal year (Oct 1). They are trying to use up all the previous years postage budget... :)

YMMV

Depends. If your package is on the same "slow boat to China", then it could be months.... but several weeks at least.

YMMV
