Woo Hoo! They cashed our check finally...almost 2 weeks after the package was sent. Of course I can't read the receipt number on the back of the check, bleh! Hopefully NOA1 will come soon! :D

I hope everyone has a great day!

Thanks CanadianMade. Fingers crossed. Congrats to those who have moved to the NOA or biometrics.

Thanks bro, I hope you do get your NOA's in the mail today. Thanks for the congrads man and good luck to you.

I have been following this thread since I sent in my applications to the Chicago lock box on the 28th of October. Canadianmade- We have the same timeframe.

I received my biometrics appointment letter on 11/10/2008 and scheduled for 11/28/2008. Based on the various successful walk in attempts posted here, I decided to give it a try today. Success! I am all done, it was quite easy. I gave my appointment letter to the security guard, he gave it a look and pointed to my appointment date and informed me that I should talk to somebody first. I was directed to an open office and the gentleman asked why I wanted to get my biometrics done today, I told him that I did not know where I would be on the appointment day  he then said he has had worse excuses. He took my appointment letter to a closed office and came out two seconds later and just scribbled 'ok' on my form and I was handed an application form to fill out. 15 mintues later I was driving back home. Hopefully this will quicken my AOS process.

I guess the worst that could happen is they say to go away and come back on the day, right? I think I might give it a go, nothing ventured...I don't really want to spend any part of my birthday dealing with immigration people!!

Wow, it wasn't quiet at all when I was there, it was like a cattle market! My appointment was at 8 in the morning - maybe the afternoons are quiet, infact the people who responded to my thread before said they went for walk-ins in the afternoon. Lots of Boston-area folk here, huh?!

Hi everyone, I made a few changes to the spreadsheet.

I updated some dates and ordered the usernames in alphabetical order so they're easier to find.

I yet have to add a couple of users that joined our thread in the past few days, sorry! I plan on doing that by the end of the week (been busy at work again...).

In case somebody doesn't have the link to the spreadsheet, here it is again: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pze...X2bQoUgSQKgZsDw :)
