Has anyone noticed this posted on the USCIS processing times site?

Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: July 31, 2008

So they are posting times as of September, but really they are as of July?

I just noticed this.

Lisa

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I see them updated now to September 28, 2008, but none of the 'processing dates' have changed unfortunately! :(

but towards the bottom(top of the chart) it says July 31st

I see from your posts every day when I come on here...that you are going through the same shock of discovery that I went through during my "journey" through this whole process. Don't even bother going by the processing times that USCIS posts on the their site...those dates are always inaccurate. They give certain dates and you will come here to VJ and see from reading other's case updates and approvals that the dates there are just to shut everyone up to help appease everyone into waiting longer. And to give you a place to check 10 times a day to see if the date changes to see what kind of hope you have of your case being completed soon.

Check this out: At one point during my waiting for USCIS approval....they moved the date on that page for I-130 processing back 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you heard me right - 2 MONTHS. I was checking that page constantly trying to gauge where we stood in the process and then that update....where they took us back 2 months.

You can't rely on those dates...thats the bottom line.

Calm down...take some deep breaths....and try to be patient. Time is going by fast and before you know it your case will be at the NVC. USCIS part is the hardest part...just get though that and you will be fine.

Deb,

Thanks. I totally realize that they are a joke. Im not necessarily freaking out. But, from time to time, I just pretty annoyed by the lack of accountability that the USCIS has.

I do believe the times going back 2 months, they just did that last month.. moved them back a month. ha!

The only reason I do care about the times posted is they get to hide behind them, when anyone does an inquiry heh heh

Thanks for responding to all of my posts with such thought and care. :)

We originally figured it would take about 6 months to get an approval, and we havent reached that yet. So, when I get impatient I try to tell myself that.

Thanks

Lisa
