Maybe there's someone on here that can help me...

I have terrible stress levels, sometimes to the point where I can have anxiety attacks or my body just aches. I really really don't want to go back on stupid meds cause they just make me feel numb and want to try a more natural approach and try to get under control. Anyone know of good herbs for stress? :)

make sure you are taking your womens vitamins daily and drinking alot of water, that is just basic and natural. Garlic is also veryyyy healthy. Make sure you take time to breath in and out slowly and deeply... when I get stressed I have to slow down and breathe.

Dear Smile!

Do try vitamin B complex.

That is a good start as well as any thing like tinctures (stronger) or teas (more mild) like St. John's wart, kava kava, there are others. Talk to nutritionists at health food stores. They know the stuff.

Get also the spray of Bach's Rescue Remedy.

A few squirts go a long way.

Lavender is king.

Baths, fragrances, get the real thing (dried) and put it under your pillow.

Apply lavender oil on you.

Exercise and good nutrition helps tremendously.

Oh and melatonin to help you rest at night.

I'm sure there are lots I have forgotten.

I wish you well.

I'm a big fan of cleaning, exercising, and a nice hot shower as ways of de-stressing. Oh, and working on eliminating the stresses in my life.

Ginseng has an effect on the adrenal gland. Ginseng has the ability to keep the balance in the body when a stressful situation occurs. Ginseng is a stress preventor. -Taken from the www.crazyfortea.com website. My friend swears by it. She won't take traditional meds. She tells me chamomile tea is a great way to destress, but I never found it worked. Hope it gets better for you!
