Well, no news. Just that I got another touch today, as well. Why so many? I just need that NOA2.

Evian, I think they have standard answers and standard letters for every type of inquiry. Every question from us needs to have an answer like "we need 60 days more" or "it can still take up to 90 days" or stuff like that.

Anyway, hang in there, everything is gonna work out just fine.

Unfortunately, Frankfurt doesn't hand out the visa right away. It will probably be another week until I have it in the mail. But then... I am gone

Natan, Panterchen,Oana, Stepha...your words make me feel so warm, thank you guys. We called USCIS this morning, but the one answering the phone dosn't know too much about the reason why we got stuck. My fiance will have an operation in these days, he needs me thereto take care of him, we asked for expediating, but not sure whether it will work or not.

Oana, the touches means they're working on your case, I'm sure you'll get the NOA2 soon.

Stepha, hang in there, for our case, I heard from Chinese visa forum, if we get so much investigation andreviewing before P2, then the other steps, like NVC checking, consulate checking, it will just take very short time.

I'm sorry to hear about your fiance's operation, I hope there is nothing too serious and he'll be fine. It's sad we can't be next to our love ones at least in the difficult moments but spiritually you'll be there and he knows it. It's not the same but we can comfort ourselves this way, otherwise we get mad.

I hope you're right about the shortage of the rest of the journey , after we get out of these long wait for NOA2.

Nice Stepha..nice words...you are right..altough right now we look like we are helpless in front of USCIS, NVC or the embassy, this will end soon...As im writing you im listening to Hillsong and there is this song "Forever" and one verse that keeps on repeating is "i will worship you my Lord"...it's kinda hard sometimes to worship and thank God when things like these happen but His plan is so much better than ours..

every morning i talk with my fiancee but the last 2 days she's been feeling very sick and tired and worn out, and like that was not enough her boss called her to come to work on Saturday too and she worked for almost 10 hours in a row, and tomorrow her boss told her to come again to work,,,and she planned for this weekend to work all day long to do the wedding invitations but i guess they'll have to wait...it's sad like how some people treat other people, and my hands are so tied and i cant do anything about it...I know how you feel Evian, like not being there for the person you love...but i choose to trust God He will take care of my babe, and your fiance...

Not many news from my side.

Interview will be February 12th and I'll leave asap as the visa comes in mail. Dan's family is already excited and waiting to get to know me (we have never met in person before since we always avoided the risk of being sent back at the POE).

We went skiing today. That was fun!! First time me on skiies after more than 10 years. But I didn't do too bad. hahaah

Keep the faith you guys! I know this sounds really stupid, but once NOA 2 is here, you can't believe how fast everything moves ahead. In 3 weeks, I'll be leaving my country already for a while. Dan is leaving tomorrow to go back to the US. Next time we will see each other, we will be together for good.

As for me, no news yet. I am super-busy with my final year exams, studying a lot, so my mind is trying to focus on school as well. But I need to be more dilligent about that.

Hey guys - I haven't been on here in awhile, but just wanted to let you guys know that I feel for you and will keep you in my prayers.

Panterchen - are you guys still planning a March 7th wedding? Also, my fiance had his interview this morning (March 2nd) and said it was insanely easy - they only asked him 2 questions ("How did you guys meet?" and "Was she your host sister when you were a student in the US? Is your relationship host family incest?" -- completely serious bout the last one, lol. Apparantly that happens decently often, that an exchange student marries a host sister from a year abroad).

Hope that helps you feel confident about your upcoming interview. My fiance is leaving March 2nd - good luck everyone else that you will get everything you need, and fast!

Mnmarty: Thanks for the info. I am a little nervous about the interview but I had already heard that the embassy in Frankfurt is fairly easy. I sure hope so! But we have so much proof...I wouldn't know how they can't believe us. ;-)

Thanks very much for your guys' comfort. My fiance had a heart operation today, he's doing fine now. I felt so sad that moment when he's in the operation, I can do nothing for him but praying. I also had some difficult time before in my life, but when I look back now, those difficulities are nothing. We'll be together with our love at the end, even though it seems not so easy now. God is blessing us.

Hey guys...

i justed wanted to tell you that my package arrived to the embassy and i already scheduled my interview: it will be on february 11th...so pls, dont forget to mention us when you pray...oana31, once you get out of nvc it will take the package 5 days to get to romania and if you go to the embassy and pick it up yourself you can schedule your interview right away in like 7-8 days... but you;ll have to have 230 first part already filled from back home,, the same with 2 copies of 156 and 4 photos... when the lady there saw all the documents that i came with just to schedule my interview she even told me that i would have had the medical done too, then i could have simply have the interview that day... but i think she just joked about it, still she was nice (the lady at window nr 4),, cos there was also another lady at window nr 5 which was like so in a crapy mood and like not nice at all... i read over the forums that we should avoid that window as much as possible ...anyway, guys im praying for you, and just know that you are almost there...soon you;ll be in the arms of the one you love...

I was just wondering how long you've waited for your packet 4???

I send out my packet 3 on Friday, which means the embassy should have received it by Monday at the latest! Is there anyway to speed it up or do I just have to wait....once again!
