Before my wife and I were married, she and her two children came to the U.S. on K-1 Visa for her and K-2 Visa's for the two children. We were married and have sent out I-485 off for my wife and the two children. I also sent the I-765 application for my wife. I sent a check for $2620.00 for all the applications. It was $1010 for my wife, $1010 for my 14 year old stepson and $600 for my 10 year old stepdaughter. I didn't send any fee for the I-765 because it was filed with the I-485. I received 4 notice of actions back stating they had been rejected because the amount was wrong. I called USCIS and they said the fees were correct but they had to have seperate checks. Before sending this back to them I would like to hear from anyone who has dealt with something like this. Thanks for your help in advance. I just don't want them to send it back and say the amounts were wrong because they did tell me it was okay to mail one check when I first sent in the applications.

Yes, you should include 3 separate checks, one for each applicant. The applications may get split up and so each one needs to have payment attached to it.

Exactly correct. Three checks.
